My current plan is to have QLab "fire" the cues that are written on the Ion with OSC. I've read that I can use QLab to help sync up cues to very fast sequences like a series of consecutive drumbeats (still trying to understand how all that works, but I think I'm getting it). One of the final projects for my lighting design class is to do a design for a song. My school's light board is an ETC Ion, and everything is run through sACN net3 gateways.
